DAY 1 : TANGER – CHEFCHAOUEN

Arrival in Tangier and pick up at the port or airport of the same city. Departure to Chaouen, stop in Tetouan, the Spanish city, arrival in Chaouen. Departure for a visit to the city of Chaouen. We will stroll through its streets and among its old houses of blue and white, and also contemplate its panoramic views. We left for Fes, bordering the Rif forest. Arrival at the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis, visit the ruins with local guide “optional”.
Dinner and overnight in Riad/Hotel.

DAY 2 : CHEFCHAOUEN – FEZ

Continuation to Meknes, city that reached its peak thanks to the Sultan Mulay Ismail, visit the palace and the famsa door of Bab Mansour, Dar El Maa and the Granary. Dinner and overnight at Riad/Hotel.

DAY 3: FEZ

One day discovery of the city of Fez – cultural capital and the oldest of the Imperial Cities of the country, which was for centuries the cultural and religious center of the western Islamic world, and which was declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site, its labyrinthine streets structured by guilds of potters, dyers … and the bustle of its people will transport you back centuries, as it is a medieval city that endures in time, 1200 years after its foundation the monuments that we will be able to visit: Medersas: Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin. Souks, Fes El-Jedid, the Karaouine Mosque, lunch in a typical restaurant in the Medina and free afternoon. Overnight in hotel or hotel / riad.

DAY 4 : FEZ – MERZOUGA DESERT

Departure to Merzouga via Ifran is also known as the Switzerland of Morocco, the forest of Azrou where we will stop to enjoy watching the little monkeys climb the cedars and then continue via the Middle Atlas mountains and then continue via the Ziz valley and its gorges and Errachidia, continue to the city of Erfoud, famous for being the capital of fossils. Lledaga Merzouga, the day will be devoted to appreciate the peace of the desert. Overnight in hotel / riad near the dunes.

DAY 5 : MERZOUGA DESERT

Explore the desert oasis and continue to a nomad settlement where we will learn some of the secrets of their life and customs. Later stop at a panoramic point where we can see the Erg Chebbi as a whole.

We will arrive at the village of Khamlia, originally from Mali, where we will relax with a tea while enjoying a small concert of spiritual music of Gnawa. Return to the hotel/riad, at 17h we will leave in a camel caravan to the camp and, before arriving, we will enjoy the sunset.

Upon arrival at the camp we will be offered a tea, as usual, and before dinner we will take the opportunity to climb the big dune or simply to those that are near the camp and enjoy the peace and silence that the moment and the place offers us. We will sleep in the bivouac in the heart of the desert.

DAY 6 : MERZOUGA DESERT – DADES GORGES

Wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise and climb the dunes, then ride the camels back to the lodge where you will have breakfast and continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani where you will stop a little to visit its traditional Souk which is considered the largest in all of southern Morocco and then continue to the Todra Gorges, the Dades Valley. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 7 : THE DADES GORGES – MARRAKECH

Continue to the Valley of Roses and its village Kelaa M’Gouna and arrive in the afternoon in Ouarzazate. After breakfast visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, 20 km from Ouarzazate, where the famous films of Asterix-Obelix and Gladiator, among others, were filmed. After the visit, we will leave towards the beautiful valley to reach the Kasbah. Stop and visit the Kasbah. We will continue towards the High Atlas to reach its highest point, the Tizi ‘n Tichka. We will enjoy its beautiful and fresh landscapes until arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.

DAY 8 : MARRAKECH

The last day of the Morocco tour will be a full day guided tour of Marrakech, including the Jemaa El Fna square with its variety of food, snake charmers, music players and fortune tellers, then we visit the Koutoubia Mosque and Bahia Palace.
