Day 1 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorges
We explore Morocco with a professional travel company: Marrakech & Casablanca Tours. Pick up from your hotel in Marrakech. Departure via the mountain pass Col Tichka, where we will cross the Atlas Mountains.
We will continue on our way to Ouarzazate, where after lunch, we continue the route to the village of Skoura, located in the heart of the valley of palm trees, a vast and labyrinthine oasis, whose lush vegetation envelops beautiful secret kasbahs, which we can also visit. From here we will continue through the Valley of the Roses to the Dades Valley. Where we will visit the Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
Early departure to visit Todra and Todra Gorges. Then we will pass through Tinijdad and Erfoud (city of fossils) to reach Rissani and Merzouga. In the afternoon we will leave the 4×4 and take the camels to cross the great dunes of the desert for about two hours. Night in the heart of the desert in nomad tents, enjoying the stars, the moon, the sunset, the sunrise. Dinner and overnight in haimas.
Day 3 : Excursion In Merzouga
We wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise. We leave to go around the Erg Chebbi. We continue to a nomad settlement where we will know some secrets of their life and customs. Subsequent stop at a panoramic point where you can see the Erg Chebbi as a whole.
Stop in Khamlia, original village of Mali, where we relax with a tea while enjoying a small concert of Gnawa music. Upon arrival we leave everything we don’t need at the lodge and get on the camels that will take us to the giant sand dunes in a quiet ride. We arrive at the camp in the middle of the desert. Dinner and night in a haima under the stars.
Day 4 : Merzouga – Nkob – Agdz – Ouarzazate
Morning breakfast to see the sunrise over the dunes, return by camel to the hostel and after breakfast departure to the vast palm grove of Tafilalet through the city of Rissani. Road to Alnif, the oasis of Tazarine, Nkob and the Draa Valley. Visit the Berber village of Agdez and the Anti Atlas Mountains. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast we will visit the famous fortified Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, on the banks of the river Ounila. After the visit and lunch we will cross the High Atlas to reach Marrakech. Transfer to your hotel and end of our services.
